If I had the extra cash I would do that as soon as my warranty expires.

On a side note, that view of the 3 mates in.the backseat, reminded me of watching the basics at the academy thru the rear view mirror when we instructors would take them on a demo run on the outside road course at ILEA, their empty heads in those helmets clanging together like bowling balls on a string lol ?

That thing looks like a blast to drive!
But $56K?? Aussie to US currency convertor says that's $41k US.
I understand there was some engineering involved, but $41k for a motor swap?!
That's waaaaayyyyy too much.

Is the 'yote even used down under?

Are there importation costs to consider?

If so they probably should've gone the Barra route instead, probably cheaper over there. Just as capable. And while it's hard to beat a V-8's noises, a 1000 hp boosted inline six comes close.

We get the Coyote in the Mustang here, we also got the Coyote in supercharged form in the FPV GT, called the Miami V8. Yes a Barra would be much cheaper but it is quite a long and high engine and it would probably need a lot of surgery to be able to wedge it in there. Been done before - youtube.com/watch?v=NeFCzYp96FY
Also remember the $56K probably would have included the engine, gearbox, shop labour, bell housing, computers and looms, programming work to get the electronics to talk to each other, probably drive shafts and custom piping/exhaust work etc. which all adds up quickly. No doubt the cost would drop if they were to mass produce a conversion kit.
