I've installed a smoked 3rd brake light, before this the OEM on was working fine, I plugged in new one and saw the white cargo lights go on but the light now doesn't seem to show reverse lights or have running brake lights with the lights on, I pressed the cargo lights switch nothing happens, the lights on function if I press brake but nothing else.. I'm assuming a fuse blew out because I put back the stock one and same issue

Now where does this fuse go? I can't seem to find anything that says cargo or 3rd brake light

Can anyone plz help?

The CHMSL brake light and cargo lights are protected by 2 FET electronic switches. If an over current event occurred, the fault may have to be reset using Forscan or a code reader. Do you have any DTC codes stored?

Were your original lights LED or incandescent?

The 3rd brake light doesn't have reverse or running lights, only brake and cargo lights.

I have a sct programmer can I do it with that? And sorry no reverse but the running lights don't seem to work only works while applying brakes and yes no cargo light currently.. and not sure what or where dtc codes are, do you think a battery disconnect would work?

I replied without a quote to this.

There are no running lights in the CHMSL (3rd brake light). A battery disconnect may work. I wouldn't install the smoked light again.

So, the only problem that you have is the cargo lights are not working. The brake light is working as designed.

Yes correct, the old light had the cargo lights and brake light running whenever the lights were on which was weird when I would remote start the car I could see my 3rd brake light on with the cargo lights this one doesn't and have not seen the cargo lights running in the new one since plugged it in I saw the white lights for a few seconds

Let's address normal ops for that light assembly:

As Cargo Lights White (x2)- Triggered on by the Switch or Entry/Exit lighting when the door opens and also when actuating the door locks (response flash)

The Red (Brake Light) CHMSL on powers with the Brake Lights and should never come on unless the brake is pressed.
These lights are powered by Fuse #62 on the bottom side of the BJB (engine bay)
This fuse also powers Reverse Lights and LH (Drivers Side) Exterior lighting headlights etc.

So, you would have numerous lights inop, if that fuse was blown.

As, previously stated, it appears the BCM (FET) has triggered a circuit protection, and the code needs reset. You may try a battery disconnect, but it may require a scan tool to reset the code - it all depends on what level of FET protection the BCM is in.
