I have a hard time finding the right lift kit for my Ranger. I have a 2wd and want a 3.5 lift to accommodate 33s maybe 34s if possible. If anyone has any ideas please help

Fordrangerlifts.com has a 3" kit. 33s are tight. Lift kit alone won't clear 34s.

Tons of threads on here about what it took to clear big rubber. Read up

3.5” huh?

34s huh?

Wheel well liners, crash bars, crush blocks, steering knuckles, and fog light housings are all in play. Then you need to consider upper control arms and ball joints. About the only thing you don’t need to worry about is a diff drop.

Don’t even get me started on zero or negative offset wheels. 😀

There is a ton of information in the Suspension/Chassis and the Tires/Wheels/Brakes sections of the forum. It’s a lot to take in but you’ll get a good understanding of everything you need to consider.

Don't 2wd and 4WD have same front suspension?
My profile shows a 2WD with 2" (or 2 1/2") level kit.

The only real difference with the 2wd vs 4wd lifts is that at the same preset on the shock the 2wd would sit higher as its lighter.

I ran the 6” rough country lift on my 2wd Ranger with 35’s. All I did was cut the differential mount off the rough country front crossmember and it was a direct bolt on. I was running 35’s. Prior to that I had the sat 3.5” lift and 33’s with no crash bars and a couple other small things trimmed. My new Ranger is 4wd and I’m only going with the eibach pro kit and new upper control arms.
