Hi Everyone. This is my first post. I just picked my Ranger this past week. Love the truck but I caught this issue on the paint on the driver side passenger rocker panel after delivery.

Looks like it might be dirt/dust that got trapped in from the paint shop at MAP? I cant tell.

Not sure if it is an issue or not. Curious if anyone else had this issue?

I just picked up 2 2023's for my work. I too found paint defects. Not sure if I'm going to warranty them or not since we only keep trucks for 10 years max. My personal truck? Yeah, if that Sabre paint wasn't flawless it would have been back to the dealer fast.

@Earl123#, Back to the dealer. Those pinholes are through the clear coat and probably at least the upper layers of pigment coats. Get on the schedule, it shouldn't take more than an overnight; probably less.
If you don't, the paint could blister off down the road, and even if it doesn't, you know it's there.

I had overspray from the factory bed liner but it didn’t look too too bad. That shouldn’t have made it through QA.

I did, too. I didn't notice it at first on the Carbonized Grey paint until I was washing it and felt my wash mitt drag across the area. I took it back to the dealer and they buffed it out. The Service Advisor said They've seen this before. The spray in bed liner is done off site and then brought back to the rail yard for shipment.
