And Ford doesn't have issues? Every manufacturer has some kind of issues, but try to resolve them in new model years.
I agree, the CVT has been an issue for Nissan in their cars. The Titans and Frontiers seem pretty reliable.
They all have issues but I've known for a few years now that Nissans really been in a lot of trouble. Of all the people I know that have had Nissans, none of them are repeat buyers..

I know of Frontiers and Titans that have lasted for YEARS AND YEARS and are still on the road. we have an old Titan and Frontier in the family that have well over 100,000 miles on them. You didn't specifically speak of Nissan "trucks", however....

Some of their cars with CVT's have had some reliability issues though.
100,000 miles is nothing, if they can last for 400,000 i'd be impressed.

After my brand new 2018 Frontier Pro-4X debacle I can guarantee that I will not be a repeat Nissan buyer.

Likewise, there are some that will never buy another Ford with an ECOBOOST!

I've got 220K and going on my 2010 Fronty CC 4wd. I have beat the hell out of it and had zero issues. it is still my daily after 11 years. I will not buy the new Fronty because Nissan overpriced this truck by about 5K. They were once the value leader and that was the attraction. Also, the new model forces ridiculous packages for getting options. Unless they allow more ala carte options and lower the price 5K I'll be going 2022 Ranger with the options and packages I actually want. Currently the ranger offers the better value IMO.

@TrkNv I made a comparison that it is very comparable in price to the Ranger in this configuration anyway.

21 Ranger XLT 302A Pkg 4 x 2 with the black appearance package, compared to the 22 Frontier Pro-X 4x2 with bedliner. Both around 36,000.

How are justifying $5,000 overpriced?.... P.S. There are many "ala carte" options for the Frontier.

Try getting a locker on anything except Pro-4x (standard) and get back to me.

@TrkNv, OH GOOD LORD! get off that one option. A Frontier is not in your future, we get it!

Looking forward to hearing all the comparisons by those that have driven the Nissan already.

One never knows when a change needs to be made.

@TrkNv, Ok, Smartie... I compared a Lariat Ranger 4x4 with a Frontier Pro-4X with the Conv Pkg, Tech Pkg, and Premium Pkg, its almost the SAME PRICE, and you get a sunroof and a bedliner AND stepbars to boot with the Frontier.............Any more justifications for your "the frontier is over priced by $5000???????????????????????????????

And they BOTH got a f'ing locker!

I also have to get 2 doors I don't want and spend about 5-6k more for the privilege. I actually am driving a Fronty now with 220K and would love another, but Nissan price and options mess puts me out. You need to lighten up Francis.

LOL, I don't want a lariat and I don't want 4 doors. You're proving my point that I have to upgrade to a Lariat equivalent to get most of the features I can get on a xlt FX2 with offroad goodies. You need to get out more and understand that people have different opinions out here in the world.
