Yeah, and all I really want is the "Lariat" bit on my fender vent not to be chrome anymore. If I could get my hands on a set from the black appearance package I'd go that route.
have you considered plasti dipping your fenders? I know a few members wanted their lariat lettering black. I kept mine chrome and rest of the fender black. It’s a nice touch.

You live in my neck of the woods. You can take your emblems OEM Auto Art in the Vista area and they’ll paint match them without buying new parts. Having mine done gloss black and cactus gray for $150.Overlays and plastidip is a real cheap alternative to get pretty much the same result but a couple hundred cheaper. I do really like the custom OEM ford black emblems but they were just too pricey for me to justify it. Here’s a picture for those looking for a cheaper alternative and curious to how it would look. Carbon fiber ford emblem overlay and plasti dipped the bigger rounded edge of the emblem.

I know Ford also changed the bed decals to black on the '21's with BAP, so it's very possible they are now adding the blacked out emblems. Interesting...and annoying that they didn't have these from the start.
Black appearance package on 2020 XLT. Blue Ford badges front and back. Fender vents are Ranger is black and XLT silver. Mine came with a black air dam up front and the half black skid plate. Still silver on lower bumper trim though. Magnetic Grey mags.
Yea, I knew they'd changed the bed decals to black on the '21's, but didn't know they also changed the emblems. Looks like they blacked out the blue portion and the chrome looks grey or magnetic (?).my fx4 decal is also blacked out
Is the black tint spray removeable like plasti dip? I have never used the black tint spray before, I was scared of messing up the spray so I chose something like plasti dip. I am kind of reckless and impatient though at times, so I choose methods easier for my stupidity.
