Does anyone if it is possible to install the rear folding headrest from a 2019 in to a 2021? On my 19 they folded down to improve rear visibility. On my 21 they no longer fold and have to be removed. The old design was better.

I don't know for sure, but my guess is they wouldn't have gone to the trouble to redesign the seat, so I'd think they would fit. If you have them both can't you just test it?

I just pulled mine out and put them behind the seat. My trash bags and boxes I tote don’t need a headrest lol.

I would like to know the answer to that question as well, I pull mine and stash them behind the seat until I have a rear passenger.
They really block rear visibility, I wish the rear seat folded flat!!

I sold my 2019 for 5k more than I paid for it and bought a 21 for MSRP at a shorter term, lower rate.

I just bought a set of 2019 headrests off Ebay from a wrecked 2019 with 6k miles. I should have them Friday, and will post how they fit after I put them in!

Do the 2021 still have mechanical parts in them to fold?
I added the dowel/button to my 2020 and now they fold, was very easy.

No extra parts in mine. First thing I checked. I plan on checking ebay or buying new.

Got the headrests in from a 2019. They slide into the posts perfect, and match the interior without any issues. There is once key difference that will require some grinding as the latch indent on the folding headrests is smaller than the stationary ones, so to get them to lock into place will require an adjustment. Other than that, I'm super pleased!!!!

Thank you that answers my question. Now I just need to keep an eye on Ebay and junkyards. Kinda of makes me wonder if there are any other compatible parts from other cars. The escape maybe?

I don't know how to ask this without sounding like Dick, but what's behind the head rest that you are having trouble seeing?

Well, we know who isn't using their mirror in this group
LMAO. I drive semi, I know how to use mirrors.

My whole rear window other than the slider has opaque vinyl on it. Zero visibility out the back window other than the slider. The rear view mirror is in the center of the windshield, conveniently so is the slider window, which combined allows me to see behind the truck. Side view mirrors give me the side views.

Still not sure what is behind the head rest that I need to see while driving, and still not trying to sound like a Dick.
