1. The lane assist is defaulting to alert only. No aid. I have to turn it on every time I start the truck. How can I fix this?
2. Everyone says when I’m talking on the phone using CarPlay my voice is so quiet and sounds like I’m a million miles away. Is there a setting to adjust microphone volume?

thanks!

Funny you mention the Car Play, as I had someone say to me the exact same thing, but when I called other people it seemed fine.....

Weird. I’ve heard from multiple people with different phones who have said the same thing. It’s gotten to the point where I’m yelling in my car lol!

1. I can't help with lane assist.
2. Welcome to the world of Sync 3 issues. There is speculation that, when connected to CarPlay, the mic from your phone is being used instead of the mic from the truck. I had to unplug my phone and use Bluetooth, which worked without issue. I've read about people reaching out to Apple, who say that it's an issue with Ford's Sync system. Sometimes, software updates fix it and other times, it breaks it again. When someone says they can't hear me, I switch to BT.
