I do my own changes because the dealership charges stupid money for full synthetic oil. Buying my own oil it's about $15 more for full synthetic but the dealer charges double. "The works" oil change is $39.95 plus tax for syn blend. It's $85 for full synthetic with 6 quarts.
I used the ford quick change for my cars before. They weren't turbo charged so the synthetic blend was fine. They generally did ok. I didn't always check my oil level after using them figuring they used those fill hoses with the set amount dispensers. Once I did check for some reason an they short filled me a full quart on a 5 quart change.
Stopping there for an oil change did cost me $30K once....I had my fusion in for an oil change an ended up driving home a new ranger.
