The updated CDF drum linked to failures shows they know the original design was a bit flawed. As far as percentage chance of failure... yeah I can't find anything either.
I do think this forum has shown some link to the number of lights you put on the truck increases the chance of a complete...
I think the crap stock tunes are EPA driven. The selling stuff "aftermarket" is the side step and a way to make a bit of money; also a way to try and hammer home the USE 93 OCTANE YA DUMMY - for the extra power and safety margin it gives. If the Ranger came stock needing 93 people would either...
If I get around to getting it into the 13s regardless of weather or wind direction. I'll call it a sleeper. Right now it's truck with an attitude problem. :D
Newest version spells our what you are doing. So pretty easy to poke around and not break anything like the first user's and needing a breakdown of the codes.
Save the as built files so you can bring it back if needed.. but it's clear on what does what.
Well, that is one way to solve the 'black looks terrible 5 minutes after being washed' because something gets on it problem. Just... make it half brown instead. Go overboard with the not clean. Very nice ride - looks great!
Seeing that makes me wish I would have waited for a 4x4, but I only...
Based on how things are going a Ranger from the future might need something from them by the time we reach 2109. Assuming we don't have teleporters or returned to the stone age via some fool firing off nukes.
Sort of similar to that.. but it happens often. Leaving work I have to cross over I-10 and have a stop sign on the other side of the bridge. Pretty long run to get to the highway once I take a left. Very often I make it to the sign ahead of someone coming the other direction that ends up being...
What about the intake manifold spacer from Boomba as a starting point? I think it comes tapped and would give you access to spray right in front of each intake valve? Not sure if straight down would be the best angle for that sort of thing?
Half my posts are broken up into bits before I hit post. I should just wait until I get on the computer at night. I have a fleet.. herd.. flock of kids.. what is the right word for 8 of them? So yeah. I get asked a question or get a request for help about every 45 seconds. This post was in two...
If those would work at stock height with the crash bars in place; I'd like the extra width when the LE3s are toast. I'd be surprised if it does based on how much room I have at full lock with the 10.4 inch wide tire vs 11.2 inches. I might or am likely wrong.. I didn't get a measuring tape out...
Most of the time it's the same thing with a different name, but with the Ford version I don't think it has the typical spin off can so most won't call it by the second name. Especially with anything connected to the intake. On a car I ran nitrous on a simple fuel filter from a big lawnmower...
Mine still looked good and beefy at the 25k change. Tire shop didn't say anything either and they are a bit spaztic about OMG IT MUST BE CHANGED THE NOW!. For sure no wobble under breaking; so rotors seem good and healthy as well.
Pretty sure I am going to need rear pads first. I keep TC on...
I'd guess you will see some squat and if you drive at night you will be super annoying to anyone coming the other way.
Doubt it's dangerous...... but... it is one reason my leveling kit is still in the garage and not on the truck yet.
I found a pic of Ford showing off the Ranger block/turbo at a show - trying to find it again. Head was off of it. You could see the cross drilled stuff between cylinders. So they showed up with the good design from the start vs a later update for the Rangers 2.3.
Then someone on the assembly...
Randomly email your vin to the main tuners and see if you get a hit?
That or cross the border into Texas and see if you can keep up with mine. That would be a good indicator it isn't running stock spark/fuel/boost/shift maps.
But on a serious note.
Do 20mph. See if it shifts up to a stupid...
