After fixing an issue caused flashing to a different tune... I used three different tools to confirm it was fixed after a drive cycle. I am a bit of a spaz and CELs for crank sensors on a new truck sort of freak me out. LMS box, my old OBD2, and FORScan.
One of them picked up a bunch of...
We actually have two buildings and they stay separated, manufacturing and mechanical. Except for the mechanical engineers who are working as manufacturing engineers and not specifically in a mechanical role. They are in the ME building. Our manufacturing types are a bit of a mix of degree types...
I work with Aerospace MEs; HR wins the gear head knowledge vs that group. Company wide some dudes in the machine shop area have us all beat.
Hope you get the weird codes sorted out.
Two glass companies refused to attempt the fix.
Ding is too shallow, they both think the resin won't grab and will be gone soon. Neither wanted to mess with the chip to make it big enough.
Each confirmed its only in the top layer and not a risk to spread. If the resin did stick, it would be...
I am just worried how this is going to react with my modified trans maps from my LMS tuner vs FORscans off switch for the adaptive. I like the way it shifts like day 2 after a tune reload. Then it goes thru cycles of awesome and dumb after that. I think the moon phase has something to do with it...
This is going to be my next not exactly cheap project. Dipstick + pan with a drain and make fluid swaps easy. Probably save me enough time down the road to easily justify the expense. That and give the trans more fluid to use.. maybe help it last longer.
I have owned a few Hyundais and have a big Kia sitting outside along with the Ranger. Raced Hyundais actually - 03 Elantra (nitrous) and a Genesis coupe (3.8 v6 with N/a mods); after spending a year over in Korea I sort of stuck with them. They also seem like they were built with the mechanic in...
I am a bit of a spaz and small things will bother the hell out of me.
Like my epic battle with bird noises.. the solution was painfully obvious when someone brought it up here. I didn't feel to bad. It kicked the dealers ass as well. At least I got a rental.
Also happy to see my possibly bad...
This is better than the Colorados battery murder OTA update.....
So far this hasn't happened to me. It will tomorrow now that I said that. At least I know to give it 10min or so and poke at it to see if the power relay responds.
My oh no moment happened during a tune upload... really it was...
That is the sort of thing I am worried about, especially with it sitting right in my face. If it splits... that is a new windshield, law or no law behind it. That would drive me absolutely nuts.
Checked that before making the post. Not an option for USAA online anyway/in Texas(?). I might call them and see if its just not on a drop down for some weird reason.
Question to the mess that is below: Let someone attempt to fix it or just calm down?
I have read way to many posts about Ranger windshields cracking for no reason. Now mine might have a reason... maybe. Not a glass expert. Also, not in a state that requires insurance companies to replace...
That is a really small and weirdly specific number impacted for the number of things the 10spd shows up in. Especially over that many years.
Some specifc combination of options that isn't common?
Same here.
When it isn't 6000 degrees out I tend to nap at lunch in the truck on work days. Snore to loud without the CPAP to try that in my office. Leaving the radio on for some background noise.... so, l've seen that warning a bunch. Battery is fine (knock on wood)
Cycle the key and it will...
I know my late build 21 doesn't drip water on the valve cover. I've checked after washing, car wash, rained all day, and crazy as hell ... hail dropping.. tornado and flash flood creating storms. Nothing. Not sure if lucky or they did something different. The cowling still seems be the same as...
