My best tire story was watching the dude go the wrong way with an impact to remove a lug. Then tried to say it was the last person to put the tire on.... I watched him switch it to left for the rest of them.... .... ... That is why I avoid discount. They couldn't fix it.

Nissans 9 speed has shifting issues and failed valve body problems as well. I did some research to see if I was gonna keep the Ranger or jump. They all suck... at least this truck has a solid engine, better than most mpg, and quicker... I'm sort of cheating on that last bit... but hard to beat...

I was annoyed about the missing plug until I thought about it like that. Also the gasket is cheap enough.

They took the diff drain plug as well in late 2021. You can see where it was cast to have one, but... nope. It's gone.

Best pic I could find, one side of the GM one has a .. bit of a bulge to it (?? or whatever you call that shape). It's on the other side as well away from that tube thing. So I am sure they wouldn't line up. Not sure and doubt that pic is to scale so they may be closer in size than this one...

The cable might help. Mine is sensitive to the cable from the USB to phone. I could see a cable behind the dash causing problems as well. Got nothing on the bump. Maybe they went a bit too crazy with the grease?

Mine just has a standard warning message if something triggers the antitheft on the info screen. Telling you to turn the truck on to calm it down. How to see that? Lock it from inside with the fob then open the door.

The crap thing about this one is... it is based on a design flaw and not because those who lost a trans didn't keep up on maintenance or drove like idiots. Seems like a roll of the dice if that drum or valve body gives you the finger and causes problems. GM at least admitted their design sucked...
