  1. Remote start issue aftermarket unit

Just happened across this post: IDK if this will work or not (what's confusing is this RTM has more data lines where most Rangers only has one data line) - however the line the poster is changing we have I will note that all Rangers are set to (1) and changing it to (2) may just be the work...
  2. Finally got my Ranger back from warrantied transmission repair. Is this what has been the common issue?

If its transmission fluid it may just be residual fluid from the remove and install, if its engine oil it would be from the rear main seal. I suspect they will tighten the bolt (if needed) and have you monitor it for more drips, give it some time for the residual to empty out of the bottom of...
  3. Finally got my Ranger back from warrantied transmission repair. Is this what has been the common issue?

Hmm, generally the rear main is not damaged with the Transmission removal, not the removal may have induced a more prevalent leak on a worn seal. Plus, it appears that the bolt is not fully tightened, may be just a misleading view though.
  4. 2021 Lariat Tremor - TPMS42 or 68?

I am curious what Benny comes up with (VIN#) specific. I have a feeling that although both are compatible through all years of production, we have to think about what was introduced to the Ranger Line in 2021. The Tremor Package with seeing varied results on here with wheel swaps (Bronco-Ranger)...
  5. Remote start issue aftermarket unit

I am doing some As-Built compares - UK Ranger vs USA Version I used Ebay UK to obtain a VIN#, as they sometimes list the VIn # for the truck in the listings and the following trim specs 2021 Ford Ranger 2.0 Eco Blue 4WD w Automatic So far I went through the BCM (726) and nothing stands out...
  6. 2021 Lariat Tremor - TPMS42 or 68?

With the TPMS-68 being from 12/17/20 & Up and the 21's beginning production in Dec 2020, its a safe bet the TPMS-68 is the correct part number but to confirm with your VIN # So with some research the 2021 began production on Dec 7 2020 so for 10 days the TPMS-107 was used and from Dec 17 2020...
  7. VIN number Chassis location ?

I saw that when trying to find an answer - but for the US Versions, I do not see anything like the one in the video - I do see a code stamped on the inside of the rail but it is not the VIN#, with the research I did - points to the QR Code sticker (when that is scanned) it will show the trucks...
  8. Remote start issue aftermarket unit

No, you should have a constant power on Pin #24 as its a direct feed of off the DC/DC convertor. The Can Bus signal to all the modules on this circuit (acts as a switch) to power the modules up and shut them down (sleep-mode) when in sleep mode there is still power on the modules for memory The...
  9. VIN number Chassis location ?

You may try a - QR Code reader on your phone or tablet, IDK if it will bring anything up.
  10. VIN number Chassis location ?

Not fully understanding your issue - Do not fit? Are you saying the 2 do not match? I do not think the Ranger has one meaning a actual (Serial Number) on the rail It would be the last 6-Digits of the VIN# Ford uses the white sticker (Label) that has a QR Code on it, that can be scanned and the...
  11. Wiper Arm Removal

First - To get to the passenger side - vent holes, it can be done without removing the wiper arm but find something to prop up the cowl to give you room to get under it. Second - Read Post #5 Yes the manuals call for a puller but its not required. Remove the cover and the nut on the wiper arm...
  12. Ford warns that Active Cruise Control can NOT be used with an aftermarket trailer brake controller

From the Ranger Body & Equipment Manual: I do not think I have ever seen this in the circuit (Blunt Cut Wire) but it does give some indication of (Current Output) So (IF) the Ranger actually had this wire - it would be spliced into the CHMSL power feed so we can assume that the (Maximum) total...
  13. Ford warns that Active Cruise Control can NOT be used with an aftermarket trailer brake controller

I have tried various searches and only can find this information - However this is from (AI) on the phone - well tried same search with computer and it would not come up with the same info - GRR:curse: One word was cut off - (Voltage Controlled Resistor) So being that the As-Built file...
  14. Oil change reminder in forscan

it should already be enabled as far as I know, and you should see a (Oil Life Reset) or similar in the IPC menus, honestly its worthless in my opinion - I never have used this reminder on any vehicle. Oil Change by - Odometer Only @ 5k intervals, perform the change then reset via the IPC menu...
  15. Ran rear dash cam and now have intermittent TPMS "Tire Pressure Sensor Fault" issue with both back tires

One other note - was anything else changed in the truck - such as phone charger or cords?
  16. Ran rear dash cam and now have intermittent TPMS "Tire Pressure Sensor Fault" issue with both back tires

To confirm it’s the Camera, completely disable the camera, Power Feed. You have eliminated the rear feed (signal) So it’s either the quality of the cam system or routing of the front cam and or power and ground to it. Possibly not a (RF) issue but a Can Bus interruption of the signal, wiring...
  17. Genuine Ford Parts, Accessories & Ford Performance

I completely forgot I did this (research) Granted this information (Specs) is from Rock Auto, I dug into this last year to find an answer to the question of the different part numbers, I do recall another member having install issues for the shaft (Another Thread - ? on which one it was) This...
  18. Ran rear dash cam and now have intermittent TPMS "Tire Pressure Sensor Fault" issue with both back tires

I would try the Shielded Loom or reroute if possible, it appears its picking up (RFI) Radio Frequency Interference.
  19. Genuine Ford Parts, Accessories & Ford Performance

I think it was confirmed by another member that the - Tow Pack CV Shaft is longer, so yes they are different (lengths) -The Tow Package 2 = (The Towing - Hitch Receiver) not the Bumper & Ball. So if you buy the cheaper shaft (its shorter) and will create issues, opposite if you do not have Tow...
  20. Cant diagnose leak on drivers side floor

Depending of the level of humidity, due to where the condensate actually drains sometimes you do not actually see it dripping. It drains on top of the bell housing. Ford did not design the Ranger firewall to make this easy to clean. For Reference: Here is a pic of it So from bottom you have...
