The pickup is located in Europe, here they look at it differently, they look for the compact frame, they look at the stickers and compare them with the one on the compact frame, here is an example of the video, after 0.20 seconds -Not fully understanding your issue - Do not fit?
Are you saying the 2 do not match?
I do not think the Ranger has one meaning a actual (Serial Number) on the rail
It would be the last 6-Digits of the VIN#
Ford uses the white sticker (Label) that has a QR Code on it, that can be scanned and the Ford Servers link it to your VIN # as the frame rail has its own production serial number.
The Engine & Transmission have similar QR Code Labels
and of course you will also have the Window Sticker that was on the truck at the time of sale
So you have 4 easy ways to view the VIN #:
The Door and Windshield and by connecting a scan tool that reads the VIN, most newer scan tools will auto read the VIN#.
and of course you will also have the Window Sticker that was on the truck at the time of sale
VIN #s are programmed to various modules within the truck.
PCM - SODL/SODR - FCIM-BCM-RCM-ABS-CCM, The VINs have to match or you will get error codes
