Tonight came home and about 20 minutes later happened to walk out in garage and heard a strange sad beeping coming from engine bay. Anyone else heard this?
I recorded a short video to hear it.
I also have these installed by dealer (who dented body on both sides installing). They have worked great for me for over a year and provide more than enough light. I am loading and unloading in the dark all hunting season and use them daily.
Good install explanation. Wish you had this before I did mine (essentially same setup)! Would have maybe saved me some time. I think the only thing I did different was to wire through the Warn power interrupt kit (wired to my aux switches) so I can cut all power to the winch from the inside...
Icon specifically says to loosen prior to greasing. I grease mine at tire rotations or when they get too squeaky. Always tighten back up at ride height.
Given Ford is moving more to a direct to consumer model, these “dealerships” are essentially just really shitty auto repair shops. Would love to see Ford open up warranty work to other independent shops so these subpar dealerships are forced to step up their game or go out of business.
You can add an aftermarket kit to enable this. I did and think it was a worthwhile addition.

I have a Superwinch SX10 synthetic rope mounted behind the stock bumper with the 589Fab hidden winch mount. Wired to a Warn power interrupt kit that is wired to one of my upfitter switches. ACC relocated with the Cali Raised Off-road bracket. Took me a few days of off and on working to get...
I just swapped mine out this morning. They were right but got them out without too much trouble. Hit them pb blaster, then hit with impact and then used breaker bar and did small back and forth. Took more time getting truck jacked up and tire off. I am glad I read about others problems with...
I already gave it away and am running new wheels and tires that all match now. Wouldn’t shock me if the dealer stole the original though. They were horrid.
I modified the bracket that holds the Tremor aux switch fuse box. Disconnected the fuse box and moved it further towards the fender and zip tied it in place. The bracket needed a bit of cutting and some holes drilled. Ended up being clean and puts the switch right next to where I have the...
Ok managed to squeeze the switch into the engine bay and have this working. Not gonna lie. Feels good to use another switch on my aux panel. :)
Thanks for the help and feedback on this.
