I modified the bracket that holds the Tremor aux switch fuse box. Disconnected the fuse box and moved it further towards the fender and zip tied it in place. The bracket needed a bit of cutting and some holes drilled. Ended up being clean and puts the switch right next to where I have the control box relocated. Tight squeeze in these engine bays!

I agree with that assessment. A B+ winch disconnect switch is out there on the belt and suspenders spectrum. When something fails in the winch system, it usually is one of those cheap solenoids and they always fail open or open intermittent. I have never seen one fail closed.
[EDIT] Don't waste your time, there's constant power to the winch through the solenoid box regardless if the solenoid has power or not. My idea won't work.

Would it make sense to wire up one of the Tremor switches to control the low amp side of the solenoid control box?

As I see it there's a short piece of 2awg wire from the battery to the control box AND another 18awg positive and negative to control the control box solenoid. By interrupting power to the control box solenoid you would effectively leave only the short 2awg wire live and the winch inoperable or am I thinking of this all bass ackward?
