Stock Tremor comes with +42 offset on 8" wide wheels with 265/70/17 tires.
I have zero experience with 20" wheels, but when I went to my current setup (285/70/17 on +35 8.5" wheels and a 1" spacer) I had to remove crash bars, plastic waffle, mud flaps, and cut a bit of the liner. Without the...
Had a dead tree (probably 60’) break and fall onto another tree last week. Was hung up by some upper branches. Got a rope up over the top and hooked up to my winch via a snatch block. Pulled the tree free so it could fall. Very satisfying though my neighbor came running over to ask if I heard a...
I am considering a Prinsu rack to make it easier to travel with my canoe (just under 16' kevlar canoe that weighs 30 lbs). Curious if anyone who has installed one of these racks has any regrets?
I am also debating getting a cap and just putting racks on it. More expensive, but I don't need...
I don’t think uncommon for poly bushings to squeak. Always been my expectations of them. I am gonna try the Teflon tape trick I saw someone mention on YouTube next time I need to grease these.
Wonder if this in any way conflicts with the permiter plus alarm system. It enables remote start using fob with lock-unlock-lock or something like that. Anyone have both installed and know if they play nice together?
Yep and torqued on the ground. I just think these poly bushings squeak a lot. They aren’t horrible after the most recent round of grease so will see how long that lasts.
I am considering swapping back to stock. I don't think I need these for any alignment correction, and I am skeptical they give much if any more travel, and I don't love the squeak. Gonna give some more time, but I am considering.
So a follow up on these after running them for a few hundred miles. Poly bushings are noisy. Already re-greased them and that helps some. I saw a YouTube video where a guy recommends wrapping a single layer of Teflon tape around the bushing and greasing that before assembling. I may try that in...
I installed the aluminum shrockworks skids (kept the stock tremor radiator skid) and cam confirm they are super high quality. No protection for gas tank but all the other important bits are well protected.
If I am remembering right, the rear diff vent tube does run up to gas fill door. Didn’t realize front diff breather was so low. Anyone extended it already? Seems like should be pretty simple to do.
