My 2022 Ranger had the transmission replaced at 18000. I thought it was ok and just quirky. Had a good dealer who listened to me about the quirky shifts and dealt with it properly. New transmission performs better than when truck was new. Get a Ford ESP plan if you’re keeping it.

08/22 was the change date per the TSB. Yours should be the updated.

Hopefully the third party will “look” at everything while in there.

The latest TSB is 25-2134 and covers vehicles built on or before 08/15/2022. Not seeing anything for vehicles built after that.

FWIW. My 2022 with the updated new transmission in 07/24 and around 8000 miles does not have the cold weather shift issues that the original transmission had. Multiple below zero F drives.

Glad that warranty covered it. But water in the spark plugs does not equate to scored cylinder walls. So maybe two separate issues?? Any way you could post the repair order that describes what they did?

You realize 4x4’s are used in other situations in other states. Why program or design a vehicle just for Anchorage ?
