I let it warm up at least 3-4min in the morning. I hit the remote start leaving work walking to the truck and let it warm up a couple minutes. In the summer it’s around 80 most mornings and pushing mid 90’s during the day so it doesn’t take long. I let everything warm up before I use it lol...
Went out fishing and sharks tooth hunting today. Averaged 14.2mpg according to the Rangers calculations. Mixture of interstate cruising and slow driving.
Probably the best picture I have from the side. This was the first time we had snow in 7 years lol. 2020 Ranger with the 2.5 Rough Country leveled struts. Probably 50k miles on them. No issues. I use it off road a decent amount. There have been several times I was sure I broke one of them...
That’s what I’ll probably end up doing. The issue is there about a dozen different ones lol. I’m hoping someone chimes in with one they like and have the same or similar barrel as mine.
The only time I wish I had an F-150 is when I’m traveling. We are leaving for a 3 day softball tournament in about 20min. The bed of the Ranger is full as a tick. The increased interior space would be nice as well. The other 90% of the time the Rangers size is perfect.
I have a tool kit of both I keep under the front seat. Plus a bunch of other random tools I keep under the back seat. Hammers, adjustable wrenches, hose clamps, zip ties etc. I haven’t needed any for the Ranger when I’m not at home but have used them countless times on other things. Definitely...
I need some advice on Ruger 10/22 stocks. I have a 10/22 that I’ve had for 20 plus years. I decided to swap barrels so I could use my suppressor on it. I installed a Faxon pencil barrel because it was on clearance...
I use the Valvoline synthetic in the differentials. The first time I changed them I put conventional in both of them. I had a bunch of the correct weight at the house and did it on a whim on day after work. First time I did the transfer case I used the Valvoline multi vehicle fluid. Probably...
If I had a temp gauge I’m sure I would be panicking over the temps I’ve probably hit after towing in the middle of summer lol. I’m wanting to get one of the plug in gauges that has the app where you can see all the temps.
I’m at 91k. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous about the...
The upgraded pan won’t hurt but I wouldn’t worry about it in my opinion. I tow my center console a lot especially in the summer. I towed it from Charleston to Captiva Island 2 yrs ago and last year from Charleston to the keys. Both trips were over 1k miles round trip in July/August. I’m at 91k...
Bought it October 2020. Just shy of 91k miles. So far so good! Only issue I’ve had was the bucking/surging issue. It was a cheap part to replace and took 15min. I definitely have anxiety about the 10r80 though lol. Especially with all the towing I do.
Hello Andy,
Thanks for your email. Because you went from a standard load, 4-ply rated tire to a load range E, 10-ply rated tire, you can bump the air pressure up a little bit. We would recommend between 42 to 45 psi.
Have a Great Day!!!
