    Hit 99k miles.
  2. The PIC whore club! Come on in!

We have Sharks, Gators and this new arrival to the camera.
  3. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Put some more corn out for the deer and hogs. The fence is for keeping the hogs out. But still put some out for them since I like sausage and pork chops lol.
  4. Towing no more than 3000#s

I’ll start off by saying always take the safest option. In the world of saltwater boats there are plenty of 20ft and larger some close to 30ft center console boats being pulled with barely functioning or no brakes. I know lots of people that fit in this category unfortunately. Even though it’s...
  5. I'm frozen in fear to even touch the transmission - sage advice please

Around 85000ish miles give or take a couple thousand miles lol. I knew I needed to service the transmission. Not saying this is the best way but here’s what I did. Installed the FitzStick. Drove home the next day and checked the level to have a baseline and what the factory fill was. Sucked out...
  6. leveling kit

No not at all. So far the suspension has been trouble free.
  7. leveling kit

I installed the Rough Country 2.5in struts/Coilovers around the 45k mile mark. I’m at 95,000 miles now. Zero issues so far.
  8. Transmission fluid change

Definitely wouldn’t hurt. I changed mine at around 80k miles. Roughly 1/2 the miles that Ford recommended before it needed to be changed. Mine looked like coffee and the new was almost clear. The filter looked surprisingly clean though. I changed it as well since I was already that far into the...
  9. boat towing on the ball

It sounds like you have plenty of knowledge in the towing aspect and you have put thought into the trip. I tow boats frequently but never a sail boat. I’m sure it’s different with a higher CG but probably not crazy actually towing it. I see people towing sailboats all the time with small SUV’s...
  10. Tire Choice And Advice Wanted…… Thanks!

First of I’m biased towards Cooper Tires so know that from the get go lol. They are the only tires I’ve ran on any of my trucks for the last decade. Not saying they are the best by any means. The reason is they just work for me. Long life, good traction and no issues. I have been running the...
  11. Old Rangers Never Die

My Father in Law has a 94 Ranger extended cab 2wd his dad bought new. I’ll take a picture next time I’m over at his house. It’s had a transmission, drive shaft and several new front suspension components. . Other than that it’s just been regular wear/maintenance items. He still drives it regularly.
  12. Livernois - Initial / Long Term Review

I’m at almost 80,000 miles running the Livernois tune. I installed the tune at 5k miles. So far so good. No issues with the tune or really the truck for that matter.
