Hope you get better soon! Oysters have tore me up several times. The burning is the worse.
  4. Rear Diff issues help me decide

That definitely answers my question lol! Pretty cool seeing slicks on a 5G Ranger! I wonder if there’s a stronger rear end you could upgrade to with minimal labor? Either something from another Ford or an aftermarket company like Currie.
  5. Rear Diff issues help me decide

Option 3 hands down. Being stranded on the side of the road isn’t a good option. Im curious to how your killing the stock one. Mine has the locker but I don’t use it very often. I thought I was going to break something one day in 4wd and the locker engaged dragging 10-12ft oak logs. I was...
  6. Why do you back in when parking?

The only time I usually back in is when I’ve already passed a parking spot lol. The other time is the rare instance I’m in a parking garage. Definitely makes sense though if backing out on a road or situations like that.
  7. Great Deals Thread

I have heard nothing but good things about them. They definitely seem to be among the best of the budget 1911 options. A lot of people that have moved here from the NE are in the same boat as you were lol. They go on a buying spree being able to buy everything they weren’t able to before. I live...

  9. 100K Today

I bought my Ranger new in October of 2020. After 5 great years with no real issues or even going to the dealership for a single warranty issue today it hit 100,000 miles. I tow my boat frequently, haul fire wood, Drive down rutted out dirt roads all the time, go through mud holes and so far so...
  10. What do you NEED TO DO to your Ranger?

    I didn’t forget @AzScorpion.
  11. What do you NEED TO DO to your Ranger?

I seriously thought about it lol. I put a dollar bill that was in my console in front of the gauges as a reminder to pay attention to the odometer in the morning. If not I would definitely forget lol. If I don’t post a picture of the 100k Tomorrow you will definitely know I dropped the ball lol.
  12. Fuel additive, YES or NO..??

I’m at 99,999 miles exactly. Only used 93 octane and no fuel additives. So far so good. I’m still on the original plugs. Even though I’ve had a new set in the garage for 6 monthsšŸ˜”.
  13. What do you NEED TO DO to your Ranger?

Drive one more mile. This was when I pulled in the driveway today.
  14. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Filled up my truck for the last time before hitting the 100k mile mark. Should hit it in the next 4-5 days.
  15. 12V Cooler

The one I have is 37qt. It’s not very big but holds a decent amount. I’ve thought about getting one of the power stations for when I want to run fans and the cooler without using my generator at the ball field. Sometimes we’re there 12hrs or more😳 but when I start running low on charged...
  16. 12V Cooler

They are the 18 volt batteries. I have 2 of the 12ah batteries. I use them in the Ryobi 120v converter. If it’s summer and in the shade I can get about 4hrs maybe less out of one. I have 6ah batteries also. Last weekend it was only 70 and it ran for 6hrs and didn’t even use an entire 6ah...
  17. 12V Cooler

Don’t fight the urge lol. We bought one about 6 months ago. We use it all the time. It’s great for Softball Tournaments. We use it weekly going to our neighbors to hangout. I installed the Wolfhouse 12v bed adapter in the bed. It makes it even more practical. Good for cold groceries also. I have...
  18. Questions from potential new owner

Between both of our experiences. The secret to longevity, may be the trucks need to be used more for doing truck stuff lol.
  19. How many miles on your 2.3L EcoBoost

I had to read your mileage twice lol. You have to win the lowest mileage award lol!
  20. Questions from potential new owner

Here is my take on the 5G Ranger. I bought mine in October of 2020 with 24 miles on it. At 5k miles I installed the Livernois tune. Changed oil every 5k miles. Changed the differentials and transfer case at around 45k miles I think and have been doing them yearly since. Changed the transmission...
