Funny I never see trans temps that high unless I am pulling but I do see coolant temps higher don't know what the outside temp is where you are but he right now we are staying in the low 90s. Normally I see trans temps around or less than your coolant temps just driving around.
Exactly I expected to see high trans temps it is the coolant temps that puzzle me know I am not sure why I am seeing temps this high when towing. the trailer is total length of 22' x8' and around 4200 to 4300. The hills I am speaking of are small in comparison to most of what others would see...
I am seeing temps more than those but my weather temps ar more than 10 degrees more but my trailer is a good 1750 lbs less milage is around the same for the trip with hills.
Well one more trip with the trailer in the books trans stayed below 220 and coolant temps around the same only spiking one time to 226 or 7 during hard acceleration. These spikes came down in less than 5 mins. I did keep my speed at and below 65 with 55 most of the time. I think the coolant...
