To be honest I tested that when you stop on it unloaded it cools down quick but not so much when loaded with a trailer. I did have a thought of changing the thermostat for something cooler ut worry about it affecting other things. It is my understanding that this stat is set at 197.5 maybe one...
Okay now this is just a small test of the new radiator because the trailer and the lawnmower are not even half of what my new camper weighs. The trailer and mower is about 2800lbs give or take a few 100, with everything loaded in the truck about 600lbs. As for temps I was seen with temps outside...

Here is a rabbit hole to go down, bolt were a topic at work a while back I don't care for SS bolts as the stretch a better bolt is...
Well on the ride home yesterday it got up to 95F and I never seen a temp above 199 and it would quickly cool back down to 196-197F. Interestingly enough when you get on it it quickly drops to 192-194F, I will have a small test this weekend with m 7x14 utility trailer and the Bad Boy. But this is...
I think you missed the point of what I posted it was in no way meant to be personal. The more your suspension flexes the better chance you have of rubbing.
I know this is a Ranger form but I had a interesting thing happen to my wife yesterday while she was driving her Explorer and this technology is in a lot of cars and trucks. She came to a stop at a light car shut down like normal but when the light turned green and she let her foot off the brake...
I miss Old Blue I'm sure someone else is enjoying her as much as I did. Nice looking set of headlights! Mine are plenty bright enough from the factory I get bright lighted all the time, I never adjusted them after the lift and little cars play hell when they get in front of me.
That milage was what I had when I traded in Old Blue to get the wife he Explorer, I had the same results when I changed out mine. A month ago I changed out the one one the truck I am driving now she is at 67000 miles and going strong.
That was a misunderstanding from the girl inside no Freon needed the Radiator is in and preliminary thoughts is temps are down and staying in the mid to low 190s. I will pull a utility trailer this weekend and get back with the findings. Next up the trans and dip stick.
I have never been big on wheel spacers on a car or truck but have run them on four-wheelers on UTVs. I think in my mind anyway offset wheels are better option especially if you use a truck for what is built for. This is just my 2 cents.
Has anyone changed out there radiator on there truck? I have been told by the shop I am using they must evac the AC I would think there is enough room to pull it without doing this.
Well today the Mountune radiator is going in so we will see how this helps in the next couple of weeks the new dipstick and PPE pan goes in in prep for traveling to Colorado in Oct. More to follow.
