There is a reason for the weight it is not a LT tire or at least a C load range and if you Tow or do any kind of rocks or offroad this is not a good tire.
I have absolutely no issue with the MPGs on my truck even with a3.5 lift and 33" tires I get 22 to 24 mpg. I have had not issues with my trans (he says while banging hard on the wooden cabinet).
My only thoughts is prevention and how I can help myself and others.
Maybe Ford and GM should take note of what he is saying. Nevermind that would mean they would have to admit they made a mistake and actually fix it right.
I have a 14 x 7 trailer with a Badboy lawn mower it is the same as I posted when I tow it it is only the TT that weights about 4200 to 4500 pending on how much stuff is in it. The utility trailer is nothing to the trans.

Agreed the trip I took was 120 or so miles though central east Texas decent hills with speeds from 55 to 75 and the trans never climbed over 193 ish. So yes it is hard to get the trans over 200 in normal driving. We will see how things go next week because some of that same route I will take to...
Frenchy I know you have been on my post about "Trans Temps" I can 100% say I never see under normal driving 200 temps I would still like to see the ambient temps closer to mid 90s before I confirm this. But my past few days of driving I have not seen that happen. I will say I think my coolant...
I had a chance to make a much longer drive this weekend this time with temps around 90 I had he same results even with more hills trans stayed in the low 190s. But I do wonder if temps on the coolant being in the low 200s is normal. Now this is not pulling and not in tow haul mode I guess I...
