Sitting parked you can see that at full lock my tires rub on the fabric-like wheel well trim. No issues with the front, but that’s parked. I’m sure once I hit the trails I’m going to get a whole lot more rubbing.
I’m currently running MR315 in the same specs with BFG KO2 in 285/70/17 as well. I’m running @Fordrangerlifts.com 2.5” level and have the crash bars removed. I do have rubbing at full lock on the street, but have yet to try out offroad.
Got around to mounting my OVS 4.5’ Awning and Shower Awning on the Prinsu rack using their low profile brackets. Next will be the light bar when the brackets arrive.
Installed the Prinsu roof rack. At the top of my list of mods I would tell myself to avoid if I could go back in time. Looks good but install was an absolute pain.
Changed out the engine air filter. Filter on the left was put on last September when the truck had 37,289 miles. Truck currently sits at 51,836 at time of swap.
Yours? I don’t even want to do mine! I’m trying to get my brother to spray mine ?
He used this on his Ram Power Wagon and his current Ram 2500. I was incredibly impressed at how good it came out. And he’s the type to throw all kinds of stuff in the bed of the truck and it has withstood the abuse.
Thanks ?
I’ve always liked the MR315 in gold ever since I saw them in photos in Tacomas. My factory wheels are grey and a lot of people in south Florida have black or bronze wheels. So it’s definitely a different look, but I really like how they stand out on the white truck.
Going to spray the bed with the Raptor liner in a couple weeks, so I removed the tent and rack to make the job easier. Also gave her a much needed wash.
With myself wanting to drive to Overland Expo PNW next year, this is certainly an issue that has lately been having my ears perk up. My truck currently has under 53k miles and the transmission has some issues.
For the last 30-40k miles I have been driving mostly in tow/haul mode. I prefer the...
Oh trust me that I know. Especially those times I’ve been the lone vehicle on the trail, I’ve been very careful as to what I do, or where I go. A failure of the transmission or any major part would be a big problem. I meant more in the sense for when I am on the road to the places I go to. Being...
Seeing more and more of these transmission threads certainly makes my ears perk up. I’m currently just under 52k miles and I do have a tendency to off-road in areas with little to no cell service. Plus I have a trip planned to Overland Expo East in Virginia in October(driving from S.Florida) as...
I have experienced the same thing with my Ranger. Figured it was some driveline shock as the truck is wanting to shift/stay in gear/accelerate/decelerate. I have never noticed it happening at work with the F150's the county acquired. Though driving around airport property is limited to 20mph...
