So my Ford Protect plan expires on 05/24 or 50K miles. Seeing as how I am at 46K miles already, I see it expiring on my next trip. All this talk of transmission issues has me worried.

yeah, I almost picked one up earlier in the year when century had a mail-in rebate promotion. Glad that I held off, purchasing it now with the extra two mags and the brace came out cheaper than had I gone with the rebate option.

Yeah, I’m hoping I get to enjoy it a bit before they come cracking down on them. Honestly I would’ve gone the SBR route, but didn’t feel like dealing with all the paperwork and wait time. In the end I made the purchase based off emotion rather than need.

Late October I took a trip back to Virginia to attend the Hurricanes/Cavaliers game, and do some camping in Shenandoah National Park. Overall great weather except for one day, and absolutely amazing views. Did some hiking and biking while I was there, as well as in Brevard, Nc.

Last weekend I had the opportunity to attend Overland Expo East in Arrington, Virginia. While up there I also tackled the Flagpole Knob Trail (Switzer Lake -> Union Springs), and did some dispersed camping up near Reddish Knob.

Finally had the opportunity to make a mount and install the Iceco Fridge slide. Now I can make use of the Wolfhaus 12v power in the bed while wheeling/camping.
