  1. Transmission work needed at 50,000 per Ford dealer

Being out of warranty I am not looking forward to any of this. I wish Ford would own up to admitting there was a problem rather than just coming out with a new spec CDF drum. Hell if they offered to cover the labor I would glad pay for the parts and call the dealer the next day for an...
  2. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Installed the Lensun Hood Solar Panel and charge controller. I plugged the solar panel into my Bluetti power bank the other day and was able to pull in 30w from the setting sun on a 45w panel. Now that was with me holding the panel towards the sun. Placed on the hood I was generating less than...
  3. Intercooler Tube Kit

I installed the Mountune Intercooler Kit. Initially was looking at just replacing the piping, but Mountune had a deal for the kit around Black Friday. Plus I purchased a small travel trailer in December. Figured the upgraded Intercooler could help out on my trips out of Florida. On my daily...
  4. Long Range America Tank

Oh trust me the fuel capacity was one of my biggest issues with the Ranger. I liked that we had another option for a fuel tank. Initially I wasn’t 100% for it since I didn’t really need that large of a tank. That decision changed when I started really pushing in the direction of a trailer. It...
  5. Long Range America Tank

And this is why I’m glad I held out on ordering one. The pre-order sale and free shipping was enticing, but I wanted to know what I was getting into. Not having instructions to look over at the time was a turn off. And seeing all the issues you guys are having with the install has really made me...
  6. What did you do to your Ranger today?

I don’t think there’s any downside to changing out the factory charge pipes for some aftermarket. Being able to give the air a smoother, less restrictive run to and out of the Intercooler is only a benefit. I took a short drive yesterday to make sure all the connections held up. Got into boost...
  7. What did you do to your Ranger today?

That we are ? Hi today during the install was 77°. Intercooler came with their boost hoses. Unlike other brands that use a hard pipe on the hot and cold side, the Mountune uses a hard pipe in the section with the BOV. From then on to the Intercooler and the cold side it’ll be a reinforced hose.
  8. Just got my Ranger back from Ford. CDF Drum Sleeve slid out of place?!?

This is extremely disappointing. I have a ā€˜19 with just over 60k miles and unfortunately this will be in my future. I’ve put so much money into the truck, I doubt it’s worth removing everything off it to get something else. Wish Ford would help those that got screwed over by their incompetent...
  9. What did you do to your Ranger today?

I picked up the Mountune Intercooler back in November and finally got around to install it. Most time consuming part will be the removal of the front fascia. My biggest gripe with the kit is the use of digital instructions. There were no paper instructions. Just a small paper with a QR code...
  10. Remote Transmission Dip Stick Aftermarket Support?

I have some ULV arriving tomorrow. Had I known I was running so low I would’ve taken a long drive back when I first installed it. Definitely makes you wonder how many transmissions have failed/had issues due to low fluid.
  11. Show me your Aftermarket Bumpers!

Jesus! I was looking at my truck the other day and thinking I was done with the mods. Now I NEED this bumper. Well done sir ?
  12. Remote Transmission Dip Stick Aftermarket Support?

Below is the reading I got today driving home. The drive home from work is only about half and hour, but it’s on the highway, and I had it locked in seventh gear. RPMs were turning about 2500. While I cannot say the transmission was up to temp, the reading matches what I saw yesterday after...
  13. Remote Transmission Dip Stick Aftermarket Support?

I got the chance to take a measurement of the fluid levels on my transmission. I didn’t get to take a picture of it, but I was actually surprisingly low. Looked like I was barely above the 6 mark. The temps today in the Tampa area on the drive back to Miami were in the 50’s, but I had also been...
  14. Remote Transmission Dip Stick Aftermarket Support?

This is a worthwhile investment to anyone currently owning or planning to own the current generation of Ranger for years to come. Hopefully this + the addition of a pan that allows for easier maintenance can help with the transmission woes people have been experiencing.
  15. What did you do to your Ranger today?

You are correct on them being pricey. I received them on Friday, and had placed the order for them on Black Friday. The sale they were running pretty much helped with shipping, which is expensive seeing as how heavy the main box is(three boxes in total. One large box for the sliders, one small...
  16. What did you do to your Ranger today?

YES! I had noticed it before and just stayed under the truck staring at it. I looked around at what could’ve been broken or ripped off in one of my many off-road trips. No idea what it’s for and puzzling to just see it there with nothing around.
  17. OXFORD WHITE Ranger Club Thread

Gave the truck a wash last week before heading up to Columbus, Georgia for New Years.
  18. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Received and installed the White Knuckle Off Road sliders/steps. Packaged extremely well and quality looks spectacular. I was able to do the install alone using a jack and jack stands as listed in the instructions. Took me about 2.5 hours and that was with opening up the boxes, grabbing my...
  19. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Installed the ā€œFitzStickā€ on Christmas Day as well as replaced the rotors and pads with PowerStop. Today I did an oil change and replaced the fluid in the Transfer Case. The MBS Stick install was a breeze and of very high quality.
  20. What did you do to your Ranger today?

I have not moved the rear camera. Obviously with tire and table in place you can’t see a damn thing. Also with it aligned with the bumper it trips the parking sensors when going into reverse.
