  1. Went wheel shopping today and came up empty. Any suggestions?

Google the hub centric/lug centric debate on any form forum the last 20 years. Factory is hub, thats the side I am on. Good information out there and no real negative real world experience either way.
  2. Clicking Under Heavy Acceleration?

Pretty sure these exhaust manifolds are integrated into the head. But it could be a turbo leak on the exhaust side.
  3. Replacement Brake Pad Recommendations?

Finally did my rears at 106k. Mild vibration under heavy braking. Went with power stop, not drilled or slotted. And their heavy duty carbon fiber infused pads. Has a good firm pedal feel now. Pistons were a pain to retract. Need both pressure and rotation. For me it has always been one...
  4. Quiet 3" exhaust recommendations to Install with CVF downpipe

Could always add a muffler to your existing setup. Will quiet it down.
  5. 33-35s and Front Lift Question

Make sure they are hub centric spacers and they are ok to run. Not great but the best option.
  6. 33-35s and Front Lift Question

My favorite body style. My first truck. Day after my first set of 35s.
  7. Eliminating water from reaching the DPFE Sensor

If they were there would be a fuel in oil recall and a bed side too tall tsb.
  8. 33-35s and Front Lift Question

    I can respect that.
  9. Eliminating water from reaching the DPFE Sensor

Looks like a solution born from pain meds lol. Replacement sensors are cheap enough. An inline filter might work for an air compressor. Not the paper ones, the ones that look like a pumice stone.
  10. 33-35s and Front Lift Question

Look into a mid travel or long travel kit. You start going that high with our tiny control arms you won’t like the ride quality. But then it gets expensive. 33s would be ideal unless you really need the ground clearance. I have ran 46s before so I am not anti lift at all lol.
  11. So I may have messed up my fitzstick installation…

I cant get mine to the recommended level without driving like an ass for 10 minutes. Mine was on 3 after a replacement transmission when cold. The tech verified it was perfect level when hot. So I just left mine in the garage over night for my fluid swap and put it back where it was. Might...
  12. Why replace your DPFE Sensor?

Mine actually threw a code for it. Made the transmission smoother afterwards. This was after a transmission replacement too. But it was replaced because it was actually shot.
  13. New 10R80 transmission - Same problems 2020 xlt

Airlinetech is right. Everything has to be reset for a new transmission. TC replacement for a blown transmission is almost a requirement. It could be the TC that destroyed the whole thing, or the CDF drum. Either way there is no drain on these TC that I know of. So lots of debris can hang...
  14. So I may have messed up my fitzstick installation…

It looks perfect now. The routing…. Well I just followed the directions and hoped for the best. I never really looked at it
  15. So I may have messed up my fitzstick installation…

I dont think mine has any threads visible. Just a gap between the spinning part and the base. I was just under there Saturday doing a pan.
  16. So I may have messed up my fitzstick installation…

Its not screwed down all the way. Only catching by a few threads. That is the hardest part of the install.
  17. Crankshaft seal done...ugh

A new engine sounds easier. Good job knocking it out.
  18. PPE standard or deep

I just ordered 2 regular ppe pans. We are the proud owners of 2 10r80s. Almost scary to think our family transport relies on these. It is more fluid than stock so its an improvement. Deep pan just seemed excessive. If I towed max regularly I would get it, but not before I got a larger truck.
  19. Nevada Mishimoto Intercooler $250

Pm please. I have thread notifications silenced.
