Google the hub centric/lug centric debate on any form forum the last 20 years. Factory is hub, thats the side I am on. Good information out there and no real negative real world experience either way.
Finally did my rears at 106k. Mild vibration under heavy braking. Went with power stop, not drilled or slotted. And their heavy duty carbon fiber infused pads. Has a good firm pedal feel now.
Pistons were a pain to retract. Need both pressure and rotation. For me it has always been one...
Looks like a solution born from pain meds lol. Replacement sensors are cheap enough. An inline filter might work for an air compressor. Not the paper ones, the ones that look like a pumice stone.
Look into a mid travel or long travel kit. You start going that high with our tiny control arms you won’t like the ride quality. But then it gets expensive. 33s would be ideal unless you really need the ground clearance.
I have ran 46s before so I am not anti lift at all lol.
I cant get mine to the recommended level without driving like an ass for 10 minutes. Mine was on 3 after a replacement transmission when cold. The tech verified it was perfect level when hot. So I just left mine in the garage over night for my fluid swap and put it back where it was. Might...
Mine actually threw a code for it. Made the transmission smoother afterwards. This was after a transmission replacement too. But it was replaced because it was actually shot.
Airlinetech is right. Everything has to be reset for a new transmission. TC replacement for a blown transmission is almost a requirement. It could be the TC that destroyed the whole thing, or the CDF drum. Either way there is no drain on these TC that I know of. So lots of debris can hang...
I just ordered 2 regular ppe pans. We are the proud owners of 2 10r80s. Almost scary to think our family transport relies on these. It is more fluid than stock so its an improvement. Deep pan just seemed excessive. If I towed max regularly I would get it, but not before I got a larger truck.
