Avoid turning on non slick surfaces while in 4H. A little binding every once and a while shouldn't cause a lot of damage. Excessive binding can cause catastrophic failure.
When I'm driving on patchy snowy roads I use 4Hi, but whenever I take a turn I switch back to 2wd just in case it isn't...
Have fun this weekend! I wish I had an offroad track or park nearby but it's about an hour and a half drive for me. I'm waiting for the weather to improve and for trails to start opening back up.
Just go with a one inch or two inch level. You'll be able to squeeze in a 285-70-17 tire in there...
Yep, and all the tunes from my understanding incorporate this to some extent anyway. May as well tune it and use sport mode and get more smiles per gallon.
I agree, but a tune impacts both of those as well. A tune gives about 100 torque, a downpipe wont give that. Now that downpipe will defiently help open up the low end and high end of the power curve. Does not change that bang for buck a tune is the best for improving the ecoboost. Then that...
I'm only running 33's plans to do 34's or 35's once change front and rear bumpers. Some other members are rocking 35's though, general consensus seems to be the truck does well enough but regearing really helps it feel closer to stock.
I run a livernois tune, it's pretty damn good. I have full...
Pretty sure remember the performance facebook group mentioning the 3 inch downpipe with a full 3 inch exhaust is good for about 10 to 15 more HP. With both you'd be spending at least the same amount as a tune. While any tune would give you considerable more.
I have a bunch of bolt ons except...
Livernois makes the ford performance tune.
Ford performance tune is
Horsepower gain: 45 HP @ 4,500 RPM
Torque gain: 60 lb.-ft. @ 2,500 RPM
Livernois is peak vs. peak gains of over 53WHP and 101WTQ, with maximum gains of over 80WHP and 101WTQ.
With our trucks, a tune is by far the best bang for your buck improvement you can make. Intakes, exhausts and other mods are going to have a smaller impact for $ spent.
OP, I went with Livernois. They provided a great tune. The ford performance tune is just a weaker version of the Livernois...
The shackles only would work with the other parts of the kit. Leveling the front is a much cheaper and easier. A simple 1 inch spacer level would decrease that rake, but still leave you enough so you won't squat when towing heavy. The spacer level wouldn't impact the performance of your tremor...
Decided to try and remove my sway bar before buying a pair of disconnects. I removed the sway bar a week and a half ago.
I will not be putting on the disconnects. Looks like the fox 2.5's upfront control the body roll well enough. I adjusted the 2.5's to be a bit more firm to compensate...
Any lift kit should work on a tremor, as the only difference in parts between a tremor and non tremor is the coilovers, leaf springs and rear shocks.
Edit: lift kit suppliers added the dosn't fit tremors because they didn't know if they would work till they fitted it themselves. Then this was...
