Thanks for doing this. It was the first thing I did after the shop installed my lift. Lights blind me at night as is due to keratoconus so any bit helps.
I forgot to take pictures, was feeling sick but wanted to get it done earlier this week when it was warmer.
Decided to do my own oil change after having some headaches dealing with the nearest dealership service center. Just about to hit 30k miles so I decided to change out my intake filter...
Little late but the AT4W have been great in the snow for me in Colorado. Pretty equivalent to the grabbers that came with the Tremor. Though those grabbers loved to fling rocks and were really squirrelly in the rain unlike the AT4W's.
I used USAA while I served. I never really had a good experience with them. Horrible customer service, insurance was expensive state side and banking was a pain. Ended up switching to NFCU towards the end. They have been amazing with every service they provide.
Throw my 2cents in.
That huge of an increase in MPG seems a little crazy. I've seen mine fluctuate between 17 to 23 MPG depending on my mods.
Currently closer to 17 but I have winch, 33inch tires and full steel skid plates added to everyday weight.
I have an S&B intake, cvf downpipe, 3 inch...
Grabbers drove me crazy with this, drive down a dirt road for 5 min and be flinging rocks on the highway for 30 min. Also they were bad in any type of wet condition. I'd have to baby the throttle or else traction control would kick in all the time.
I recently changed out my 2023 tremor front coilovers for some fox 2.5's. I also had a 2 inch level from ford ranger lifts. The ride is noticeably better and I can fine tune it. I'll consider replacing the rears when they needs servicing.
The 2.5 really soaks up bumps when going fast.
I didn't go the Sawzall route, I removed or loosened components till I could slide the crashbars out. Same issue with the extra screws on the block, the guide I looked at made it seem so easy.
That plastic block was a pain in the ass. I removed the front crash bars when I installed my hidden winch but decided to wait for new tires to do the rear crash bars.
Between the block and the crash bars what i told my wife was a 30 min to hour 1 or 2 beer job out in the garage turned into 2+...
I used a 2 inch puck level from ford ranger lifts. Use a 1 inch if you still want some rake, 2 will make it damn near level, and when I am fully loaded with camping gear and pulling the trailer I squat a bit. I should have went with 1 inch. I'd switch to 1 inch if I wasn't already budgeting for...
I have an S&B intake. Does it improve gas mileage or performance? Not sure, possibly. Can I hear my turbo spooling up now? Yes I can. Worth the smiles per gallon? I think so. Would I get an aftermarket intake without a tune or other aftermarket parts like a downpipe and exhaust? Nope.
Half of...
From others I've talked to on the tremor Facebook group. A bigger tire will not fit unless you change the offset, level the tremor with a puck, remove or replace the crashbar. One to all three of those to make up to a 285-70-17 fit with no rubbing.
I ended up with +1 offset wheels, removing the...
Yeah At4W are amazing in the rain, I have to try to get the rear wheels to slip.
Also tires are pretty quiet, I don't hear them at all so far and I have about 5k miles on them.
