I have a set of Eibach coilovers (550 lb spring rate). Have about 10,000 miles on them. Upgraded to a 2.5 coilovers for Bajakits LT kit. Just so you’re aware. The Eibach coilovers do not fit Bajakits long travel kit, only stock control arms and maybe some other brand of lower arms
as far as I...
Jason, will you be selling the hot and cold side charge pipes separate for those who just want to purchase the hot side.
I’ve contacted both Mishimoto and aFe and they both said they only sell the intercooler pipes as a kit for the ranger.
The reason I’m asking is, both those companies and...
Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knows the size of the bolt and thread pitch of the inner tie rod. There is a picture below of what I’m talking about. If anyone has replaced one and still has it laying around, can you measure it please.
That’s going to be really nice with a 10” shock and you get to run a dual rate spring. It’s going to be really smooth! Can’t wait to see the finished project.
If anyone is wondering, for reference
King 6” coilover - 14” compression- 20”extended.
King 8” coilover - 16”compression- 24”extended
stock Fx4 extended 20”
I think the 8” coilovers will fit running the Bajakits.
This is an update to Superdannyboy’s findings.
I contacted King to find out the compression and extended length of the ext. King coilovers (25001-386-ext) for our truck and these are the measurements.
The Ranger front coil overs measure 21.8” extended and 16.1” compressed. They have a total...
If 87stang616 completed a solid axle front swap, I don’t see any issues doing a motor swap. Anything can be accomplished if you put your mind to it. Good luck!
I know it might be added weight, but it seems like the Ranger is better off being towed on a trailer.
I wonder if Jeeps have the same problem, most of the time i see a motorhome pulling a vehicle, it’s usually a Jeep.
Selling my stock wheels and tires. One tire is popped and Not fixable, sidewall puncture. Selling for $200 obo. Took off the tires around 27,000 miles. No shipping. I’m located in southern California, San Marcos but willing to meet up In the San Diego county area.
One rim has a gash, bought the...
It’s a lot better, like most aftermarket struts or coilovers, its firmer but in a good way. When you hit bumps and pot holes, instead of the front bouncing or making you squirm from the sudden harsh hit of the stock shock, the eibach hits a bump and levels out, and the initial tense up you would...
Looking good Jeremiah! I really like how it’s sits with the stock offset. It’s almost flush. Cant wait to see it all painted up, what tire size are on your stock wheels?
