Yeah, I tend to sleep stretched out. Also sometimes in the morning I get leg cramps and they need to be straightened out to kill that beast. Getting old is so much fun...
Except that "6' bed" is really only 5'9" long. I'm 5' 6" and hit on both ends, my biggest disappointment with this truck. If that bed were 6" longer it would be a great camper.
Yes, it will. The uWave will draw around 10A from the inverter at 120VAC, and the inverter will draw about 110A at 12VDC from the battery. ProtonDecay has the math right. Power (W) divided by voltage (V) equals current (A): 1200W/12V=100A, plus the 10% loss from inverting = 110A.

But your Ranger runs at 12V, not 240V. The current out of the alternator will be 125A @ 1500W, and 250A @ 3000W. I have doubts that the alternator can do 125A at idle speed. Admittedly I don't know the rating on these but peak power will be at well above idle.
Hopefully someone who knows...
I was a GM guy most of my life, except for 1 Dodge Dakota, which I soon regretted buying, and a 1999 Jeep TJ that I really liked. I drove that thing for 19 years as a second vehicle.
I travelled a bit for the company in the 90's which usually meant Ford Taurus rentals. I hated them...
And after all this testing, we have vans that dump water into the air cleaner when it rains (Transit), vans with driveshafts that have to be redesigned (Transit), and Rangers with driveshaft problems, seatbelts that "might fail", and all the other assorted problems that we see here in the forum...
I have mostly DeWalt tools and a couple Black & Decker tools, all 20V lithium. Those batteries are NOT interchangeable! the Black & Decker use the same connector as DeWalt, but the polarity is reversed, and they are keyed so they can't be mixed. I sure wish they had not done that.
I don't...
I learned to drive in the 70's. Every time it shut off I had flashbacks to those days of emissions-choked vehicles that liked to die at stoplights. I disabled it.
I'm retired. I drive in a semi-rural area with few stoplights when I go to the store, other than that its all highways on camping...
Ewww!
That said, I had some sketchy wiring to/in my garage until I could do it right. I understand completely.
It takes both time and money to do it right, and when they are in short supply you do what you can with what you have.
Yeah, I don't go into town much except to the grocery store. I live east of there, nearer to Corona de Tucson. I've been in "Covid isolation mode" too long, need to get out more. The walls aren't just talking back, they are arguing with me!
