I never said it didn't impact milage. Again, we are very much in the infancy of EV technology. That range impact will vary heavily by manufacturer and battery setup.
We can go back and forth sending links with varying findings. It looks like the answer to the question is YES, cold weather does...
I think the offering of EV trucks will be pretty awesome in 5-6 years. The Hummer EV and Cybertruck will be interesting. In 5-6 years there should be EV trucks out from some big name brands, and quite a few startups (Cannoo, Rivian, ect). I'm planning on replacing my Ranger with an EV truck...
I have my doubts that hydrogen will take off. Toyota is selling their hydrogen car at a huge loss. I think the market is shifting towards EV as being the primary propulsion for vehicles. I'm sure we'll see something else eventually come out, but EV is definitely going to be the next primary...
I love my truck, but I'm extremely excited about an electric daily, I would also love to have an electric dirtbike. The ease of use, lack of maintenance, instant torque, and stealth of EV's is hard to argue with. Also, quite a few of your points I believe are not accurate. I've had so many ICE...
If we didn't have to tie into the 3rd brake light, it would be like a 45 minute job. Super annoyed that I had to pull all that trim just to tie into the light.
Haven't had a chance to plug a trailer into it, but it glows blue for a second if I press the button, so it must be working lol
I tried it last night too and noticed I only had the (AS BUILT format) instead of both versions then I read that I may have clicked Load Profile when I was starting the connection.
If you downloaded the new Forscan version, you need to click "No" on load profile. Then forscan will go through...
Has anyone noticed the Trailer Brake Control Module under the IPC? I was poking around the other modules after turning off the engine noise in the ACM. The trailer brake control module is disabled in my IPC, I do have a Ford OEM Redarc w/ the emergency braking addon that I installed, but it had...

I don't know a lot about Maxxis vehicle tires, but if they're as good as their MTB or Dirtbike tires then they should be great. I default to Maxxis for 2 of my dirtbikes, and my MTB.
I bought mine for around $289 from the dealership. Installed it the other weekend. Definitely wasn't fun pulling all the trim panels off to get to the 3rd brake light wires but I got the job done. Haven't towed anything yet.
The plastic piece shown In the photos pulls off very easily for more underse
Thanks for the pics!! And to everyone else, that wide piece will pull off very easily, leaving a very small opening that needs taped up which will also give you a lot more storage space.
I've read grumblings about it, but haven't seen a definitive post on it.

This is the only way I've seen advertised that works which I have no interest in doing
@LevittownFordParts.com can you comment on the installation of these keypads? Are we able to self program? Seems like there is a lot of back and forth. Would be good to hear it from you guys
