Your best bet may be to disconnect the battery for a short time to let the hardware reset. You will also need to reset the auto up/down on the driverās window afterwards.

What version Sync3 are you on? If you have build 22251, then that is most likely the cause of your issues and needs to be updated to build 23188. Do not rely on a wifi connection to tell you if there is an update available as it is not always reliable.

Ford made a change with MY20+ APIMs. If you use the Cyan Labs process where the APIM gets reformatted the APIM could be bricked. You can use Cyan Labs for MY20+ vehicles as long as you follow their instructions. The issue can also affect older vehicles if the APIM was replaced with a newer version.
If you are using a Mac, then be sure the USB is set up correctly. Many have had issues with the USB setup on Macs.
