The better question is why? If MY 2021 will be the same design as the existing model, why would Ford go through the expense of re-tooling just to fit another engine for just one year production? Makes no economic sense, but I could be wrong. Then how are they fitting a v6 into the 2021?
I am reasonably certain that the frame design for the 6G will be upgraded from the present design, addressing rigidity, NVH issues, etc.
