Yeah, from everything I'm reading an actual clear coat will eventually yellow, cloud, and or peel.

Danish oil looks like a nice middle point between boiled linseed oil and penetrol. Thanks for the tip.
maybe a paint job that is still keeping the same vibe but stopping more rust etc. lots of flat paints now for auto. i think the flat black is kinda overdone now. a Maco paint job is fine for rat rods.

Long time since I’ve been here, just wanted to say hello and show you Blue, parked next to Alyeska before my second ski trip. I’m an adaptive athlete, and it was my first time on the monoski, and I must say I had a blast!

If you know somebody who is disabled and has a hard time with life, reach out.. I’d be happy to talk to them about the importance of continuing to LIVE LIFE despite their circumstance.

Peace

I would go for zapon lacquer or ovatrol oil (quite like boiled linseed oil, maybe an other trade mark for penetrol?) ??

Looking it up owatrol and penetrol are 2 different names for the same concoction. I'll check out the Zapon and see what I can find. Thanks for the tip.

Now ya did it!
During the after school kid shows and Saturday morning cartoons, there were kid oriented commercials, including Tonka Toys. I still remember the jingle, and it will be an ear worm ("continuous replay" in my head) the rest of the day. That one, and, for those that grew up in the greater Twin Cities region, Lunch with Casey Jones' birthday song. One one the oldest agriculture and construction toymakers was Buddy L and later Ertl also were popular

Everybody sing along!
For those who want real lifelike toys
That they can operate too
Yes sir, boys it's Tonka Toys
They're made just for you!

Happy, Happy Birthday to every girl and boy
Hope this very special day brings you lots of joy
Hope the birthday presents
That you get from Mom and Dad
Will make this very special day
The best you've ever had!

But I digress...
Stuff parked on the Ranger?… couldn‘t find the forklifter but the little TONKA BONE BRUZER?
The rollcage must have broken sometime between 1977 and 1979.

This was Saturday the 15th. the Rangers four year Rangerversairy. Gave all three a good cleanup and minor detail. I still plan a major detail for the Ranger. Tree pollen is so bad right now, they are green in few hours if not under cover.

Thanks. As they say time flies when you're having fun. ? The RS is a 2016 and it seem like yesterday when I got it. It is a fun drive and it has held it's value better than any vehicle I have ever had. However the Ranger is my daily driver and my favorite truck of all that I have had.

We help people sell their Rangers in the easiest way possible.
I use these two pictures when discussing "why things are seen" with my Scouts. Mind you, we don't really have to deal with many snakes up here, and there's only one that's poisonous, but we sometimes go canoeing up in that region:

Another reason why I wouldn't make it a day in the wilderness.
