How do you like the Gibson system? Any audio with it installed? Thinking about buying for mine.
Go to my build thread or the thread about this for review and video.

Has anyone had luck finding a good looking, black, dual exhaust tip? As I've been shopping around, looks like I need to take into account the angle of our pipe, that it's side discharge, etc.

Anyone know how large an inlet the stock exhaust pipe is? Maybe 3" inlet? Earlier poster said 2.75 appeared to be too small.

I just painted my regular exhaust with High Temp black paint. Looks way better that the plain jane stock and cost less than 6 bucks at WalMart...
Thats exactly what I was thinking! Can you post a picture?

Or just make your own side exit like I did, total cost was under $100 for piping, resonator, 90 degree mandrel bent pipe and stainless band clamps. I think it looks and sounds amazing!

Here's a pick of my Go Rhino stainless steel tip in matte black (pt# GRT3410B) that I bought off Amazon for $40. Used high temp matte black spray paint on the visible part of the stock pipe to match.

Yep, originally I used the factory resonator just to get a feel for how it would sound. I loved it except for the fact that it hung down below the frame and looked like crap lol, so I set out to make my own using different assorted parts. I have a video of what it sounded like after I tried a muffler and resonator delete from outside the truck. Disregard my daughter giggling, she couldn't wait to hear how it sounded after the muffler delete haha. Parenting done right I'd say, she's my little shop helper!

For now this is the only video I've got of it after I made my own, after work today I can have my daughter rev it up and take a video from outside the truck. I'm pretty sure she loves this truck as much as I do and shes only 11!

I'm pretty amazed at how good these engines sound, even without any resonator or muffler. I wanted something with a little deeper tone so that's why I ended up cutting the factory resonator off and trying it with that first. Eventually I plan on lowering it, so a side exit with the piping tucked up just made sense because there won't be any room over the rear axle for any piping once it's dropped on it's nuts lol.
