Went to the self service hand held car wash yesterday to get the midwest road salt scum off. Used the pressure with soap then the pressure rinse. Drove it home to blow dry it. Last Aug I applied Turtle Wax Ice Seal & Shine. Have done several hand wash jobs before now. I am well pleased with the results. Water was all beaded up & blew off the truck on the way home. Photo after ride home, just picture it mostly white before.

What does STX imply? What makes it an STX?

The acronym comes from "Street Touring Xtreme." Now discontinued or morphed into something else, it was an SCCA classification which at one time included compact trucks (incl 3G &4G Rangers).
As for Ford Ranger models, it comprises two option groups, which upgrades an XL trim into more of an "XL plus" to "almost but not quite an XLT"

I like your wheels & lift! Cactus grey is a mystifying color. Here, you took two photos I assume on the same day and place and they look like they could be two different colors

Thanks! Yah it's an interesting color. Looks very green when it's overcast and more gray in the sun. I was looking for white and stumbled upon this and have been happy with it.

Nice! I went with the Fox 2.0 stage 1 package with 2" front lift. Wheels are Method 701 16x8 zero offset wrapped with 265/75R16 KO2s. I like this setup, but the poke with zero offset is too much for me, so I am selling wheels and tires . Just ordered Method 703 with +35 offset.
