Was finally able to wash it for the first time. Tires are flat out amazing in the ice and snow. Every bit as good as dedicated snow tires I’ve used in the past up here. Window tint tomorrow and leveling kit Saturday.

Cheaper than I expected. Would love to have LEDs.
there are body guys out there replacing these because there is some super small imperfection and insurance covers a new one. They take them and sell them on eBay. One was literally perfect, the other had a broken tab I repaired and a few scratches I buffed out. Worth it for me. I wouldn’t pay the 1100-1500 they are each new.

You can't even tell.lol Seriously that looks really great,I really like the wheels too. Black is still one of my favorite colors but with all the dust we have out here it would be a constant battle keeping it clean. Which lift did you go with?

Did you paint the Tow Hooks yourself? I was contemplating doing that versus paying for the $109
Yes, I painted them. They are not hard to remove at all.

I'm away for the holidays so I tucked my Ranger in for a long (2 week) nap. I did leave a light on though so he won't be scared.

Hi Rick,,

Thanks for asking!

We are in a holding pattern until early Feb for Margie to get to a pulmonologist, but we will be pulling the plug on our Alaskan Cruise. We are coping with her 50' oxygen hose and the associated trip hazards. I have modified the house to stop the hose from hooking the furniture for example. Got her a portable oxygen concentrator with backpack as it is about 5 lbs but she can now get outside... Worse is my eye surgery during all this...Sheesh!
When it rains it pours, I guess, but we have the resolve to stay on this side of the dirt!:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::)

The takeaway from this is to do what you want to do..do not put it off for a later date as you might never get to do it ..Showing my age....Rock On!!!!:like::like::like::like::like:

Best.

Hi Rene,

Thank you for the kind words. You and your wife will be in my thoughts during your difficult time. Used to be people my grandparents knew, then it was people my Mother and Father knew...then it was my mother and father, then our older friends here in Green Valley and now it is us...

Amazing how the cycle repeats. All the best!

Best,
Phil and Margie Schilke

Got dedicated winters installed today. Went with a set of Michelin Latitude x-ice. Originally I thought I would ride out this winter on the Hankooks, but after a couple dumps of wet snow and temperatures that were repeatedly thawing and then freezing I found myself sliding around more than I'd like. Damn Canadian Winters eh!
