Chuck Norris, Action Icon and ‘Walker Texas Ranger’ Star, Dies at 86

Another legend has passed away and one of my all time favorite actors. Besides all his martial artist movies he was great in The Delta Force, Good Guys Wear Black and all the Missing in Action movies and Lone Wolf McQuade.

Chuck Norris was 86.

Chuck Norris, the martial arts champion who became an iconic action star and led the hit series “Walker, Texas Ranger,” has died. He was 86.

Norris was hospitalized in Hawaii on Thursday, and his family posted a statement Friday saying that he died that morning. “While we would like to keep the circumstances private, please know that he was surrounded by his family and was at peace,” his family wrote.

My favorite Chuck Norris movie is Lone Wolf McQuade. The scene where he unburied himself in his Ramcharger still makes me laugh.

Chuck was an icon, at that time therewas another experienced martial arts named Joe Lewis, who was his competitor. I grew up in that era and fought in many karate tournaments. It’s a shame to see him go ..

I watched that movie last night. So good. One line I liked was near the beginning after he beat up the Mexicans, he was dragging one off who was complaining about his recently knocked out teeth Jim McQuade says "I'll get your teeth fixed."
