I've narrowed it down to these 3 trucks. All 3 are 4x4 and blue.
The two Rangers are velocity blue
This one is the XL STX 4x4.

This is a new version of what my current truck is, except its blue.

And the 3rd one is a F150 STX SUPERCREW 4X4 in atlas blue. Trying to find a super cab 4x4 was like trying to find a needle in a haystack lol.
So I settled with the 4 door.
I'd drive it.

Just possible replacements for the current truck. When it's time.
If I were to go new at this point I would get the updated version of mine, XLT FX4. The Tremor if reintroduced in the Ranger would be an option unless it ended up being just a more expensive FX4. I think the XLT trim is the best bang for the buck. I had leather seats in the Super Duty and I think I'm over them. Not a deal breaker by any means but I like the breathability of the cloth and my Ranger seats are comfortable. Advanced tow package and technology package would be the other two necessities. I think that can be had currently for around $45K?? If I thought I needed an F150 I would look at the same packages and likely the Coyote V-8. If I needed a super Duty it would be the same packages and the 7.3 Godzirra!!

The reason that I chose the STX package with the F150, it has the same 2.7 liter twin turbo V6 engine that Dads truck has. I know that the engine is reliable, I drove it 100 miles per day for 5 years before the Ranger came in and I sold the F150 to him.

Nothing wrong with that!

Thank you for your information and your understanding. It will be a good while before I get another truck. I still haven't gotten All of the Good out of this one Yet lol.

Same here. I've had mine less than two years and I have no regrets. Tows our travel trailer just fine, great mileage, nimble... what's not to love??!! This is my retirement truck actually and unless something happens it may be my last truck. This is our only payment right now and once we're done debt free sounds nice.

I'll be ordering a 2026 Ranger XLT. When the Ranger PHEV comes to North America I'll let it season for a couple years and then trade for it. A guy can never have too many Ranger's in his life.
I accepted delivery of my 2026 Ranger XLT on 4/20/2026. I did my due diligence and Gemini told me it would not have that tailgate thingy (can’t bring myself to even say the word).

And look what was attached to my otherwise beautiful Ranger. Duke (@DukeCanBuildit), what the heck should I do? The stress is unbearable! I know Dave (@AzScorpion) is going to delight in my misery. I’ll never hear the end of it. 😩😬😩

I know you didn't ask me but I think you should write down the phone numbers of all the cute ladies that want to try out your smooth tailgate :sunglasses:
