THIS ^^ . In addition you’ll be getting a different drive shaft from Ford. They will “update” you to the Tremor style driveshaft which includes changing the pinion flange. Something to think about especially if you’re paying out of pocket.
I’m looking into this right now. I’m not a big fan of modifications but I don’t want to create more problems than I have right now if they’re going to install something that is faulty right out of the box.

If I were going to have to do a driveshaft replace on my dime, I would get a one piece from them. You hear nothing but good things about them from folks here that have them.

The TW driveshaft is hands down the best change I made to my Ranger. I am convinced that it takes stress off the drive train (including the transmission). And I like my Eibach's and my Amp Power Steps...

... and an honorable mention to the tailgate damper, just because Dave is a nice guy!

Agreed. On top of getting rid of the highway vibrations, it felt like my truck got a brand new transmission as well. There is just way too much play in that two-piece from day one, and it only gets worse in time as the center bearing deteriorates.

Having installed mine 2 months ago--to me this is a no-brainer, but I understand I'm not the one who will have to get under the truck! If you do end up going for the TW, I'm sure there are plenty here who can give install advice, myself included

I was 67 when I installed it. It is pretty straight forward process... I had no trouble installing it. Took me about 90 minutes to remove and replace it. It's been on my truck for quite a while now... Since early Oct 2022. I grease the splines annually whether they need it or not. 5 minute job.

The purchase page has instructions on how to do this: https://4xshaft.com/collections/ford-products/products/5th-generation-ford-ranger-rear-drive-shaft but essentially you crawl under the truck with measuring tape and measure from flange to flange. When I measured, it was 66 3/4" from end to end, and a measurement in that ballpark range is normal according to reports here on the forum. Here is the image they give you to reference the measurement:
