Those are the fronts, but honestly the rears here make a bigger difference in street ride, so you may want to consider those first, unless you’re also looking to level your truck.

Currently, the Eibachs.

That may change once Bilstein comes out with 4600s or Rancho releases 9000XLs for the Rangers.

For the rear shocks, you technically don’t have to lift the truck at all. You’ll just remove the stock shocks, bolt the top mount of the new shock, and the. essentially bench press the lower mount into place.

It is easier if you get the frame up on jacks and let the axle hang, however.

Fronts, you absolutely need to get the truck up in the air.

For the fronts don't you also need a spring compressor? If the fronts are changed does that require a front end alignment too?

Unfortunately, no.

Frankly, I’m pretty surprised that they’re not already out.

For an Eibach front install, you’ll absolutely need a spring compressor, and an alignment is highly recommended if you’re changing ride height.

If you’re doing a complete coilover like a Fox 2.0 or ICON/King 2.5, a spring compressor will not be required.

You can use factory springs for 0”, 0.75”, 1.5”, 2.25” or 3” lift.

The Eibach struts are designed for the factory springs, and all their ride height gains are due to the preload caused by the different perch settings.

Reusing the stock spring is fine, you just have to keep in mind that getting higher ride height means more preload which stiffens up your ride a bit.

Is there a rear shock that lowers the rear to be level with the front? Seems like all the leveling kits just want to raise the front. But I think I’m not alone with wanting to slightly lower the rear on these 2WD trucks.

If I could have lowered the rear at the time, I wouldn't have gone with spacers.

Shock absorbers do not effect height.

The rear spring determines the height and payload. There is a thread you can follow concerning lowering the new Ranger if you haven’t found it yet.
A cheap option IMO would be to remove the rear overload spring and add air bladders/shocks when load carrying. But I suspect the ride may suffer.

Have you done it?
Without the overload the main spring will flex more, I’m thinking an inch or more.
At least that’s been my experience with past trucks I’ve fooled with.

None of which were monoleaf springs... right? Totally different design, they are different than multi-leaf springs.

Still, lowering the rear on the new Ranger is going to be a trick.....and expensive.
