On this special day, as we honor the contributions and sacrifices of our veterans, let’s take a moment to dive into a fun yet meaningful discussion: If you could choose a different truck besides the one you currently own, which one would it be?

Whether it's for its rugged durability, off-road capability, or simply its iconic style, trucks have always been a symbol of strength and resilience—values deeply tied to the spirit of our veterans. So, let’s hear it: Which truck would you pick and why?

And for those who aren’t veterans, we’d still love to hear your opinions—every perspective is welcome!

Let’s celebrate this day together by honoring our veterans and sharing our passion for trucks!

But I'll play along anyways.

I guess if was going to jump ship I would probably give the Nissan Frontier a good look. I haven't looked into them enough but I have always heard good things about them and I like that you can get theCrew Cab with a longer bed. Besides that Chris @Frenchy never stops talking about them so I guess maybe I'm brainwashed by all his posts about them.😅

I would look at a Ridgeline, because I could get by well on less of a trucky-truck, and am quite ok with a better car-like ride.

What can I say? It's an excellent platform! One other thing that makes it better than the rest is the fact that it's still got a lot of basics over focusing complicated tech.

I'd look for 2026 Ram 1500 since it has the 10/100k warranty or a tacoma offroad double cab long bed since I wish I had more interior space for supercab ranger without sacrificing the long bed.

When I bought my 2019 Ranger I compared it to the Tacoma and Colorado. I'd previously owned several Dodge vehicles including a Durango and was happy with the brand, but the Dakota wasn't available. The Ridgeline's specs were in the range, but I wasn't interested in a unibody.
Assuming the specs shown today are still relevant I'd go with a Taco. ....assuming the Ranger wasn't available. I don't need a larger truck.
