TRUCK just quit.

Remote started my truck this morning as per usual, then drove about 2 miles to pick up Jeanie after dropping off the Edge to have speed sensor replaced. I went to crank it...and it wouldn't. Tinny sounding chime so I'm thinking battery issue and asked Brakes Plus to jump it. They tried...and it wouldn't. Starter would only barely grunt. Technicians jump box was fully charged and showed my battery to be charged as well. Radio will play, windows will roll up and down, but she's not gonna crank.

So here I sit with Jeanie in her newly repaired car waiting for a tow truck to take me less than half a mile to the Ford dealer.

I do not, unfortunately.
Neither does Brakes Plus, weirdly enough.

And yes, we ARE near a tavern of sorts, but at this point it's best I dont imbibe. Ancient history shows me to be an angry drunk

Chris, buddy, I agree with Duke on this one, that sucks. I hope and pray that you can figure out what caused it and it doesn't cost to much get it repaired. Good luck brother!
