Went wheel shopping today and came up empty. Any suggestions?

Do yourself a favor - make sure they order you a set of hub rings for them. I bought a set of Fuel Flux, and I’ve been dealing with vibration issues. After my 4th visit, the manager realized they were not installed with the wheels. They are not required but good insurance to prevent potential vibration issues with your long commutes.
Don't need them if bolted on with proper technique...just torque your lugs wheels off the ground, star pattern, slow cinching and you'll have lug centric naturally...zero issues 145K miles with same Fuel Shok...the hub centric rings don't hold your wheels centered...they just help you to get the wheel centered for bolting...

This likely won't work with fewer lugs like 5 and definitely not 4...

Sid, I'm glad you weighed in on this. You're thinking the same thing that I am, and that Dad told me from the first flat I ever had to change. Tighten the lug nuts in the proper pattern then set it on the ground and go back around and make sure that they're secure and your good to go. He also said that applys to factory wheels or aftermarket. You and most of the other members on here know that I'm old school, and I have that old school mindset. Thank you Sid, I feel like a weight just got lifted off my shoulders. At this point I'm waiting patiently to see how it's going to look with the new wheels.

Going to Discount Tire after work to see if they have got my new wheels in, and get them mounted and balanced. Then go from there and get new headlight bulbs. After three years and nearly 100,000 miles the passenger side burned out during the drive in the rain on the highway home. Oh well, that's life.🙂

Sid, the best I'm going to be able to do to start is when I update my profile pic, so far everytime I've tried to post pics this phone has failed. Bear with me, I'm to stubborn and hard headed to give up, that and I have to go by Dad's on the way home and let him see it with the new wheels. I hadn't even told him that I decided pull the trigger and do this. Sid and everyone that helped me with information and pictures, thank you guys!😎🤘

Sexy!

They look great! I’m guessing you are stoked to finally have them installed too!
Thank you. Dad likes the way that they look with the stock 255s on it and my Uncle Jim said that the bronze wheels give it that 70s style Hurst Olds look. BTW, OTR Raptor crested the 100,000 mile mark. As of on the parking pad in front of the house, 100,001 miles. Hell Yeah!!!

I must say you have exemplary taste in wheels 😁
Thank you Dennis, it was the pictures of your truck and Sid's truck and the helpful info from you, Sid, Duke, Casey and everyone that weighed in on this helped me to have the confidence to go through with it. I noticed significant changes in the drivability and the handling. With the lighter Fuel wheels it accelerates quicker, stops faster and turns easier with the extra 1 inch width. BTW, the +20 offset is spot on. 😁🤘

I am my father's son. The more I look at the images that I took of it with the new wheels and the stock size 255 Goodyear tires it has on it. It does have that 70s hot rod look with the stock rake. I say images, I took a couple of pictures here at the house. Profile pic may be: Take 2! Lol!🙂
Still to come to complete the look. Ranger Raptor grill without lights and a pair of off road lights mounted in the bumper, one on each side of the license plate. OTR Raptor saga. To be continued->>>>

A little update on the OTR Raptor, that name has become official BTW. It fits the new look of the truck, and the way my mind works. I wasn't sure if the new wheels would affect the fuel economy. Still averages anywhere between 23 and 25 mpg. One word, and that is consistent. 😎

I just realized there are some people that I forgot to mention that helped me in this journey, which is far from over.
Chris Mullendore at Lone Star Conversions for suggesting that I go through Discount Tire to order my wheels through them.
Thank you Discount Tire Sherman, TX for ordering and installing the wheels for me and thank you FedEx for shipping the wheels from Dallas to Sherman.
Thank you everybody at Team Ranger 5g who helped me with your information, knowledge and pictures of your trucks. 😎🤘

Google the hub centric/lug centric debate on any form forum the last 20 years. Factory is hub, thats the side I am on. Good information out there and no real negative real world experience either way.
