NW Peoria here. 99th and Pinnacle Peak. LOVE the MBRP cat back. The gurgle at start up and idle is fantastic. Had another Ranger owner track me down in Home Depot to ask about it.
First time truck owner and totally open for trail suggestions.

Looks like this thread died long ago, but I don't have enough buddies that wheel with me to go as often as I'd like so I thought I'd post here. I'm in Mesa and I've done sheep's bridge, four peaks, senator highway, and a number of forest service roads up north while camping. Just looking for chill people to explore with

Yessir. Already got some starter mods on deck. Hard tri fold tonneau, front leveling kit and the Ford Performance grille.Told myself this one was going to be just a reliable daily driver after going crazy on my Mustang. And yet the list is already growing....

Pretty much as delivered to me save for tailgate damper and the tri fold tonneau I put on today. Got front leveling kit but she’s going to have to wait her turn in the garage for that. Waiting on the Ford Performance grille to show up. Will be scheduling window tint and graphite coating in the next couple weekends since she’s going to be living outdoors. Then wheels and tires as next major purchase.

I guess I split the difference from most here. Prescott is my home. Not as much heat or snow.
I admit, I got a little carried away with upgrades but I plan to keep this Ranger far longer than my usual 2 years or so. I also lay heavy blame this site for a lot of it. :)
Naturally, my first mod was the must have tailgate assist. Then, to balance the truck, hydraulic hood prop rods. Gator EFX Hard Fold Tonneau Cover came next. Everything with chrome was replaced with black. Grill was replaced with the Raptor part. Tailgate Ford logo got the black treatment as well. LED lighting all around with Diode Dynamics Stage Series LED Lightbar Kit added up front. Smoked tail lights and third brake light out back. Eibach Pro Truck shocks and struts +3/4” level and 265/70R17's. Got even more carried away and added the FPP Tuner. I needed steps for my wife's upcoming knee surgery so I added the N-Fab RKR Rock Rail Hoop Steps. The steps came off after her knee healed but still have the rails. Mishimoto Trans Pan and MBS dip stick are in the garage waiting to be installed when it hits 25k miles. Rarely off road, I have an old Jeep for that. Occasional fire roads, just because.

Dave, your Ranger looks great! It's very easy to get carried away with the mods being on this site. David @subquark is the King of this and will buy just about anything that's recommended. 😜 👑 I went a little crazy with my '19 Ranger but restrained myself with my Tremor. To be honest I plucked just about every mod off my '19 along with every deleted item and added them to my '23.

One thing I've always loved about AZ is how diverse the terrain is here. You can be driving up the 17 in the desert in 110 degree heat and within 2 hours be in High Country at 7,000' and 80 degree weather surrounded by Ponderosa Pines.

Glad to see you were paying attention and bought the best mod first! 😁😅

Welcome to the club!

Thanks! Yes, the AZ terrain is amazing! Travelled most of the state in the 12 years I have been here. Moved from a town about 45 miles south of @subquark. I originally got the damper when I had my '19. Pulling a trailer for my brother, the tailgate slipped out of my hand and hit the trailer jack, scratching the paint. I went home after and ordered them. I had no idea how cool I was going to be with that one mod! :)

Hey AZ folks, latest mods. Mammoth leveling kit with Pro Comp wheels and Nitto Terra Grappler G3’s in 265/70/17. Did the in channel vent visors and a bugflector at some point too. Stock, leveled, leveled with new shoes. Stock wheels with tires will be for sale if anyone is in need.
