Some advice please. I have a 2020 2.0l diesel bi-turbo ranger. About 6 months ago I had the yellow spanner warning light come on so I booked the car into my local garage for a service and asked them to address the warning light. The service was carried out and they were unable to fix the warning light as they could not find the location of the faulty sensor. Below is a print out of the dignostic report.

I have subsequestly taken the car to a second local garage who also cannot find the sensor. I have done some looking on this forum and have downloaded the schematics for the 303-14 Electronic Engine Controls (Shop Manual). It refers to a coolant sensor behind the front wheel. The second garage have given me a sensor - but I don't think it is the correct one.
Can anyone offer some advice if this is indeed the location of the faulty sensor and also can you help with the correct part number - so I can take it to the garage with me.

thanks in advance

The shop manual from this forum is for the North American gas powered 2.3L engine, so would not apply to your diesel. We don't have the diesel engine available in NA.

Here you go, now for the code - If the Bi-Turbo is like the 2.3, The Oil Temp is inferred (reading) by the PCM and is taken from the ECT and CHT sensor readings with the ECT being the primary

With the Autel 909 or Forscan pull up the Live Data PIDs for those Temp Sensors
View them on a cold engine and note if the (2) match within a few degrees.

I do not have access to the manuals for the ROW Rangers, and found this chart via Google and someone posted it on here as a PDF - but the link I found is a direct link to this, so unknown where the thread is located.
