Yes its a tool that gets rarely used (home use), and Harbor Freight - Maddox or Pittsburg in my experience lack in quality.

My vac tool is one of many seldom used, dusty tools in my shop. But none of them owes me a dime. I saved more than their cost the first time I used them vs. shop labor.
