That's just as bad as wanting to get rid of all petroleum and go all green. Everything there needs oil along with 1000's of other products. I guess they've found a way to make asphalt roads using zero oil and solar and wind to produce it ?‍♂

Well you could use bio oils and gravel to generate asphalt. Just chop some wood and extract oil. Or you could use the air carbon recapture way and use solar or wind to producte the energy for that.

All doable* and technology available.

Problem is that it costs atleast 20% more.

*=I'm happy to provide some wood from my forests, for fair compensation, as this would increase the wood prices

Comparison: Diesel costs 1,7€/litre here, bio-diesel costs about 2€/litre. So about 17% increase.

As a public service for all the 'Murican coal rollers: 1 liter = 3.785 gal. €1.75 = $1.96USD X 3.875L = $7.599/gallon

Just before they banned them here in NY, I bought a box of 5000 ?. Stuff some in my pocket when going shopping and use the self checkout line. I think it will be a lifetime supply ?.

Unintended consequences, just a TV show but makes sense.

That's a good show and I remember that episode. Love how BBT tells it like it is and she was stunned when he got through. lol I don't think many realize how much stuff is made with/from oil. From the obvious like gas to asphalt some medicines and every plastic container bag or bucket and dozens of other things we use on a daily basis.

The best line was..."Are you gonna' walk back to the truck, or stand here and wait for a f@cking mountain lion?" ?
